How to Delete Your Account

1. Sign in at mennoniteyourway.com or in the Android app.
2. Open your dashboard and choose Profile to go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the Delete Account section.
4. If you are asked to, sign in again to confirm it is you.
5. Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent, then select Delete my account.

Before You Can Delete

An account can't be deleted while it still has obligations to other members, such as an upcoming stay, a pending booking request, a published listing, a payment, security deposit or payout that is still in progress, or an open damage claim or payment dispute. The Delete Account section lists anything that needs to be resolved and how to resolve it. Some accounts, such as administrator accounts, need help from our team; the Delete Account section will tell you if that applies to you.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

• Your account is deleted immediately. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone.
• Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, profile photo and other profile details are removed.
• You will be signed out everywhere and will not be able to sign in to this account again.
• Past bookings, payments, refunds and other financial records are kept where required for accounting and legal reasons, but no longer show your name.
• Messages and reviews you exchanged with others remain for them, shown as “Deleted user”.
• You can create a new account later with the same email address. It will not be connected to this account or its history.

If you are a host:

• Your listings stay on record but can no longer be booked. Calendar sync links and any PriceLabs connection are removed. Existing booking history is kept.

Information We Keep

Records of past bookings, payments and refunds are kept where required for accounting and legal reasons, without your name. Messages and reviews you exchanged with other members remain visible to them, shown as from a “Deleted user”. Records of pages you visited (described under Page views in our Privacy Policy) are kept, but are no longer linked to your name. Payments and host payouts are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own records under its own privacy policy.

On Your Android Device

Deleting your account signs you out of the Android app and removes any notification registration for your devices. The app keeps your sign-in session and a few app settings on your device; uninstalling the app removes them.

Can't Sign In?

If you can't sign in, email info@mennoniteyourway.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
