About this place
We prefer to rent by the month (1-3 months max, please) because we have so many guests who are working contracts in Oak Ridge, but will make exceptions. This is a 2 bdrm, 2 bath full furnished all inclusive home. We live on the same property next door, and we share a driveway. We have a rabbit farm and raise chickens, and have several vegetable gardens. Our homes are surrounded by woods on both sides and back, and the lake is across the road. You can walk down to the end of the street to the boat launch and picnic area. This home as a large partially covered deck. Our price includes electric, water, heat and air (with a limit of course). We are Christians. No smoking please (of any kind), alcohol or parties. We are in the middle of completely remodeling the house, so at this time, we can only provide an exterior picture. New photos will be added. There are two queen beds total. Because this is a farm, with lots of tools and equipment, and on an incline, it really isn't suitable for small children.

Husband (Ross) and I are originally from Western New York, and moved to Tennessee in 2009. We have a small rabbit farm, also with chickens and vegetable gardens. We have been AirBNB hosts (in our home) for 10 years, and we also own the house next door which has now come available to rent out, since the passing of my MIL. We are currently extensively remodeling (kitchen, both bathrooms, etc) and so only can post exterior pictures at the moment. Our houses are in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by woods on 3 sides, and across the road from Melton Hill Lake. The boat launch, picnic area is within walking distance at the end of the road. Your stay with us (preferably 1-3 months) would be "all-inclusive) meaning we've provided all linens, extensive kitchen utensils, electric/water/tv/internet (with limits of course), and monthly cleaning service. We have two large friendly, well trained dogs who will pop over to your house and expect treats (also provided). We are perfectly situated midway between the towns of Clinton, Powell, and Oak Ridge. We are less than an hour from the Smoky Mountains. I am semi-retired from working in the travel industry, so certainly can provide guidance with sightseeing in the region. Sorry, but our property is not suitable for small children or your pets. Please no smoking (of any kind) is allowed. We share the same driveway, and are here to help you with any needs.
